Minor Accidents can be Anything But…

There is no such thing as a minor accident unless someone who knows that they are looking at states the damage to the car is minimal. That is to say, no one should make assessments on how safe a car is to drive after it has been in a minor accident. Consider the following scenario: someone dents your car mildly. You assume that the dent is merely minor and you continue to drive the car opting to take the car into a body shop when you have some free time. (There is no statute of limitations on your cheap car insurance policy so why rush) So, you are driving along a road and the rear wheel of your car comes off. You lose control of the car and narrowly avoid a head on collision. Now, what caused this? The car’s rear wheel was knocked out of alignment during that minor accident. As such, you were driving a very dangerous vehicle! Look, you are purchasing that cheap car insurance for a reason. It is there to pay for damage when it occurs. Part of the repair work involved with the cheap car insurance is to ascertain what damage has been occurred. So, to self diagnose the current condition of a car can prove to be a very dangerous proposition. So don’t do it! Leave such estimations to professional hands!
